A British char-woman with little lovely in her life saves up for years to go and buy herself a "Dee-Yor" dress.
It's a charming, feel-good book from the Sixties, I think, when Dior-and-ONLY-Dior WAS Dior.
I can still feel and see the fabric and the folds and the crisp atelier-new scent of that black and white beauty in its whisper of tissue.

My favourite ones are the first two. Besides beautiful dresses, the styling and photography is so light and playful
I bought black knee socks in NYC solely because of this photos. Now all I need is a flirty black dress and the look will be complete!
I bought an outfit of Sarah's in the spring, only to have it arrive 10 weeks later with bad stitching and uneven seams. What a bummer.
