Oh where, oh where. . .

My apologies for my unannounced and unexpected absence from black white bliss! Life outside of the blog world has been a bit crazy with work, travel and other things from the stuff of life. . .anyways, hope to squeeze a few posts in here and there as it looks like life probably won't calm down too much til mid-April.

Helvetica Blu-Ray HD edition

Drooling over the packaging for the Blu-Ray HD special edition packaging of Helvetica. Now, if I only had an extra $125 laying around for one of these limited edition copies signed by director Gary Hustwit. . .

studio mela :: I Love Your Egg Beaters print

Love this egg beaters print from studio mela on etsy. . .which is also available in a set along with spoons, forks and spatulas.

Sweetbeets :: Letterpress Cards

Loving these cards inspired by simple toys of childhood {letterpress printed using vegetable-based inks and printed on recycled paper} from Sweetbeets on Etsy. Two People perfect for kid-related celebrations, but wouldn't it also make a sweet second {or any} anniversary card?

Three Blocks Card. . .hard to resist type and wood-grain. Also great for grown-ups!

Sighn :: ITS OK

I certainly could stand to hear "ITS OK" over and over again. See a video on the project and get your own right here.

ITS OK. Edition of 1 million. Every single one is solid wood (no plywood or particle board) and is hand cut by me. It should take me about 60 years to finish this 'limited' edition.

Be sure and check out more of Sighn's amazing hand cut wood art.

Chiasso :: Baroque Balance Scale

A bit pricey, but pretty. (via design milk)

Coastal Living :: Bold and Beautiful in Rosemary Beach

The March issue of Coastal Living features the interiors of a home in the gorgeous Florida Panhandle town of Rosemary Beach. More about the home and slideshow of images can be found here, but my two favorite are the alphabetized frosted glass of the kitchen cabinets and this amazing photo wall.
